Rev.  Jerry Glover-Pastor

A native of the Flint area, Rev. Jerry was exposed to a variety of religious denominational differences as a child.  He was trained for the ministry by Rev. Tony Sirten, Pastor of Church of the Living Water in Nashville, where he served as treasurer, youth pastor, and sign interpreter.  He and his partner Rev. Bobby were called home in 2004 and in 2005 were appointed by the Holy Spirit to the task of starting a ministry that would be spirit-filled, open and affirming.  Where ALL were welcome and could find the love of God without condemnation.  Thus Walk in His Light Ministries was born.

Rev. Bill Hicks-Associate Pastor

Bill Hicks was born and raised in Flint, MI.  While growing up,  he attended Faith Tabernacle-a Pentecostal Church of God.  He was very active with kid’s ministry, intensive Bible training  courses, and vocal music.  He lived a life of total confusion for many years because he still loved God as much as always, but was told  (many times, by many people) that he had an evil spirit of homosexuality within him and he would go to hell.  He prayed that God would make him heterosexual and that God would let him die, so he could go to heaven.  At that time, Bill wanted to die so badly.  God didn’t do either.  The Lord placed Bill in the lives of those who had already found peace with Jesus and homosexuality.  Bill has experienced that same peace for 6-8 years.  Praise the Lord. 

During the past few years, Bill has been training for the ministry.  He was licensed in June of 2005.  Pastor Jerry ordained Bill in December of 2006.

Rev. Chris Rose-Director of Christian Education

I praise the Lord from where He has brought me.  I have been involved with Wicca, Hinduism, and New Age occult religions in my past.  I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior in June of 1999  I was baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of other tongues on New Year’s Day of 2001. I graduated AJB Rhema Bible School in June of 2005.  I was licensed as a Minister of the Gospel at that time as well.

 I was ordained with  Walk in His Light Ministries in December of 2006.   My callings are prayer and teaching the saints of God to equip them for the job the Lord has for them.
